The Remo Kid's Percussion Djembe is a winner of the prestigious Oppenheim Gold Seal Toy Awards for product quality. It comes equipped with a pre-tuned Fiberskyn 3 drumhead. The ACOUSTICON shell and head are designed for years of carefree play. The Remo Kid's Percussion Djembe is a winner of the prestigious Oppenheim Gold Seal Toy Awards for product quality. This is the perfect introduction for young drummers to world music. The Colorfully printed Rain Forest design is a lively as the music your child will create. A padded shoulder strap means your child can easily carry their own drum to the drum circles. The drum is 15 inches Tall with an 8 inch diameter head. Djembes can be made to produce three distinct tones. The deep bass tone sounds when striking the center on the drumhead. The mid tone is played just off center. The High Tek is a rim shot played with fingers on edge of drumhead. Ages 5+
